Are you an undergraduate, graduate, or professional student at Penn interested in gender equity with experience in any of: social media, publicity writing, data analytics, design, video production, animation, or back end? Apply for PAGE Outreach committee and work to promote gender equity on campus! The application deadline has been EXTENDED until Saturday, February 25th. This is our first-ever committee, so members will be able to shape the positions, scope, and vision of the committee going forward into the future!

Psyche on Campus wins APsaA Journalism Award

Psyche on Campus, the blog about teaching and learning psychoanalysis in colleges and universities that Penn Professor Max Cavitch initiated and curates, has won the 2022 Excellence in Journalism Prize from the American Psychoanalytic Association. 
 
The award citation reads in part:
 

Beans Velocci of the School of Arts & Sciences explores how sex and gender have been shaped and categorized through history—and the consequences of those constructions taking on the guise of scientific and medical fact.

In Memory of Professor Robin Leidner

GSWS/FQT is sad to announce the passing of long time colleague and friend, Professor Robin Leidner. Professor Leidner was an active member of the GSWS/FQT community, teaching courses on gender, sociology, and work, serving on the board, and advising students.
She will be deeply missed.
