In Memory of Professor Robin Leidner
GSWS/FQT is sad to announce the passing of long time colleague and friend, Professor Robin Leidner. Professor Leidner was an active member of the GSWS/FQT community, teaching courses on gender, sociology, and work, serving on the board, and advising students.
She will be deeply missed.

Beinecke Scholarship for Juniors: $34,000 for Graduate Study in Social Sciences
The Beinecke Scholarship awards $34,000 toward graduate study to juniors eligible for need-based financial aid who are planning to pursue a research-focused master’s or doctoral degree in the social sciences, humanities, or the arts, with a strong preference for Pell Grant recipients.

At Penn, the world’s first graduate queer art history fellowship
Read the Penn Today article with GSWS and History of Art Professor of Practice Jonathan D. Katz on the newly created McDonough Fellowships for queer art history. The fellowships are supported by a 10-year, $3 million donation from an anonymous donor. They’re the first of their kind in higher education.
