Ricardo Bracho Named Inaugural Abrams Artist-in-Residence
Ricardo A. Bracho has been named the first Abrams Artist-in-Residence in Penn Arts & Sciences, in the Alice Paul Center for Research on Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Artists-in-residence are outstanding visual artists, musicians, writers, and other creative practitioners who work with students and faculty.
Davy Knittle Named 2020 Dean's Scholar
GSWS Graduate Certificate Student Davy Knittle has been selected as a 2020 Dean’s Scholar for Penn's School of Arts & Sciences. Knittle was GSWS Graduate Associate in 2018-2019 and currently co-teaches the course Trans Methods (GSWS 350) and acts as a Graduate Mentor for two GSWS honors thesis students. GSWS congratulates Davy on this well deserved award!

Created by a group of students, activists, and scholars to cultivate and expand conversations on trans and gender inclusivity, the TLP hosted a series of events and workshops to bring to the forefront concerns and issues facing the trans community in academia.
