Demie Kurz

Demie Kurz was the associate director of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies program until her retirement in 2017.  Her primary research and teaching interests are in contemporary issues of gender, with a specific focus on the family.  She has written on the topics of divorce and domestic violence and was a founding member of the Carework Network, a network of researchers, policy makers, and practitioners who are concerned with promoting research and policy on carework.
